PAUL GODDARD     "GODS"

First Team Player Manager

Paul is in his second season as Manager, after guiding the team through a first tough transitional season.

A passionate player and manager who leads by example is looking to pick up the new season where the 2019/20 season finished. He is looking for the same passion and commitment from the Boxted first team squad

VINNY FLYNN     "VIN"

Reserve Team Joint Manager

The Boxted Lodgers FC Reserve team wouldn’t be where it is today if it weren’t for Vinny who oversees our strategy and advises on the best course of action. We really couldn’t have wished for a better joint manager.  (As good as Klop!)

ELLIOTT WALKER

U9s (Blues) Manager

Elliot is a young, keen and football loving coach.

He has been involved in football since the age of 5 where he played for Stanway Villa until under 18s. Winning many titles and playing in CDYL and EJA.

He then went off to university to study to be a PE teacher; and is currently subject leader at a school in Hertfordshire. Alongside his day job he plays in the Eastern Counties Thurlow Nunn Premier for Long Melford; “Playing a decent level allows me to try and further educate the young lads in my team. I am keen to progress these fine, young players on to the next level.”

Elliot has only recently been accredited as a FA level 1 coach thanks to the support from Boxted Lodgers, “I have completed many coaching courses through college and university. Football is a massive part of my life and I want to be able to give these young players the chances I was given. Without coaches, players cannot progress and I am privileged to have worked with Jamie for a long time to know how it can be done. Jamie has done a lot for me and working with these amazing kids at JBFC on Saturday mornings, made me want to give up my free time to coach them full time. I am also very lucky to have support from Liam as job location makes training a bit difficult.”

CHRIS NORTHWOOD

U9 (Reds) Manager

Chris has recently joined the club to create a new U9's side to play in the Colchester Sunday league.

Chris was a regular for the Colchester District side during youth soccer playing at both left and centre back.

Chris had a successful playing career which was spent mostly at Tiptree and Stanway Rovers.

Along with his passion for football, Chris was  a keen sprinter and also a member of the Great Britain U18's  American Football Team.

Chris has coached and also been a keen observer in recent years watching his 2 children progress to play a high standard of Football.

Chris is passionate about football and wants to pass his knowledge and experience down to the kids that he coaches.
